A crane remote control is a wireless control device used for remote operation of crane functions (such as lifting, lowering, horizontal and vertical movement), allowing operators to control the crane without being in the cab or near the equipment, thus improving safety, flexibility, and work efficiency.

The core function of a crane remote control is to replace traditional hand-held or button controls to achieve the following operations:
Hoisting/Lowering Controls the lifting and lowering of the hook or grab.
Trolley/Crane Travel Controls the crane's horizontal or vertical movement along the track.
Rotation Control (Applicable to rotary cranes): Controls the left and right rotation of the boom.
Grab Opening and Closing (If equipped with an electro-hydraulic grab): Controls the opening and closing of the grab.
Emergency Stop Cuts off the power with one button to prevent accidents.
Multi-speed Adjustment Some advanced remote controls support stepless speed change or multi-stage adjustment.
