Metallurgical electric hoists use a motor to drive a reducer, which in turn rotates the drum. The steel wire rope on the drum winds or unwinds, thus lifting and lowering the heavy object. During the lifting and lowering process, the electrical control system precisely controls the speed and position of the heavy object by controlling the forward and reverse rotation and speed of the motor. When the electric hoist reaches its limit position, the limit protection device automatically cuts off the power to prevent the electric hoist from exceeding the safe range.
